ABOUT THE PROJECT:

Join us in transforming the home of 1 home in our community! Together, we will be decluttering, refurnishing, painting, and cleaning the home all within a day. It might require some physical stamina, but it will be a fun and meaningful time of making a change together with like-minded people.

Home Sweep Home is a project that enters into the homes of the vulnerable communities that live in one/two-room rental flats, or are vulnerable in other ways to reimagine and enhance their homes for a safe, hygiene and dignified living. We do it through decluttering, refurnishing, painting, and cleaning of the home. We believe one’s home is where the transformation of our minds and lives begins, and a simple makeover could give people a chance to a better start at life.

ITINERARY:

DAY 0 (specific date):

There will be a zoom call to attend where we will share with you guys about the profile we are helping, as well as the changes that we will be making in the home.

DAY 1 / DAY OF PROJECT (EARLY MORNING): Arrive at the home, set up our items and grab a snack!

DAY OF PROJECT (MORNING — LATE EVENING / NIGHT):

We will be working together to:

— throw away any unwanted furnitures in the home, — declutter their belongings, — give the walls a fresh coat of paint,

— build some new furnitures

— clean up

— furnish the home

DAY OF PROJECT (AFTERNOON):

We will have lunch together.

DAY OF PROJECT (LATE EVENING / NIGHT):

Once the makeover is done, we will leave from there.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you find it necessary to cancel your participation after registering, a cancellation fee of 50% of the total event cost will be applicable and it will go directly to the project cost.

100% reimbursement will only be granted in cases where a valid medical certificate is provided. The medical certificate must clearly state the inability to attend due to health reasons.

For cancellations due to reasons other than medical conditions, such as late arrival, schedule clashes, or change of plans, will not grant a 100% reimbursement.
